Intention VS. Perception

We know that we are supposed to Love each other as Christ Loves the church; the question is, is that really possible?  Unfortunately, most people will not grasp the depth of the question and will quickly fall prey to what I call "The Eternal Cop-out"!  No matter what we do, we are going to sin because we are not perfect as Christ is perfect.  After all, we are all sinners, right? 
So.....in an imperfect world full of imperfect beings, how do we even begin to accomplish the task?  My understanding is that there is perfection in Love!  Wow.....you think I'm an idiot, right?
I guess that would depend on your understanding of Love.  Love is extreme!  And believe it or not, many people will never experience Love!  My favorite verse (1st John 3:16) says that "We know love by this, that He laid down his life for us; and we out to lay down our lives for the brethren."  That’s pretty extreme right?!  Christ put everything on the line for you!! Why??  Because of His PERFECT LOVE for you!  What do you put on the line for your brother or sister in Christ?  How do you interact with those you have been called to Love?  If your perception has become more important than your brother or sisters intention, then I only have one question to ask you; what is YOUR intention?
